Students who are interested in using one of these lockers should contact the MA office. You will allowed to sign up to use the locker for one semester at a time with the opportunity to extend during the break with permission from the MA TESOL office.

Dear TESOL Students,
We are going to hold a thesis proposal meeting on Saturday September 13th at 1PM in the Queen Sunheon Building room 509A.
Students who are going to be in their 4th semester for Fall 2014 and are planning on doing their thesis for Spring 2015 are required to write a thesis proposal and present it in this meeting. Those 4th semester students who do not present a proposal will be considered at that point as Practicum people.
Proposals need to be sent to the MA office in advance of the meeting. Please send an electronic version of your proposal to the MA office (email@example.com) by Wednesday September 10th at 12PM. Guidelines and suggestions for how one is the write the proposal can be found on our MA website:http://tesolma.com/thesispracticum.html
The meeting itself is somewhat informal with the applicants taking turns presenting their proposals to the entire group. Each applicant should bring 4 hard copies of their proposal to the meeting to give to the professors. The presentations are fairly informal and do not require any other support materials. There will not be any Power Point presentations. Basically, applicants will explain the proposals they have written focusing on the questions what, why and how.
What do you intend to do.
Why are you planning on doing that?
How do you propose to do it?
The thesis proposal meeting is a closed meeting and is open only to those who are presenting proposals.
Shortly after the proposal meeting presenters will be informed of the results and, if accepted, who their advisor will be )
The part-time position of Web Assistant for the Graduate School of TESOL is now available.
The job mainly entails maintaining the departmental (MA) website, developing new ways to enhance the program through varied communication tools, and communicating with students through the website.
The position starts in September and is set for one semester.
The Web Assistant is required to work 12-16 hours per week under the direction of the department head and the payment is at the 교육조교 level (1.6 million). Some of the work at least can be done from a remote location but the Web Assistant is expected to work from school at least a few hours per week.
Any MA student interested in this should contact professor van Vlack (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible.
Students doing the Practicum for their fifth semester option are REQUIRED to register for both the Practicum I and Practicum II classes.
The same procedures and deadlines apply when registering for these courses.
Students doing the thesis option DO NOT need to register for any classes. By not registering you are automatically entered as a thesis student.
If you are a fifth semester student who is planning on doing the thesis but are not certain you will graduate this semester consider taking a leave of absence (휴학) while it is still possible.
Also, those people who are planning on doing their thesis or practicum this semester but are currently taking a leave of absence must file paperwork that they are coming back to school. This is important and there is a deadline for doing this.
