Period to submit application for Thesis/Comprehensive Exam:
April 1 st (Wednesday) - April 7 th (Tuesday)
Login to blueribbon-> Academics (학사)-> Graduation (졸업)-> Thesis Management (논문관리)-> Thesis/Project/Exam Application (학위논문/과제/시험 신청)
There will be a Journal committee meeting on April 4th Saturday from 11am.
Location will be the Haengpa building 210.
The purpose of the meeting is to determine who will be involved in this new volume of the journal (Fall 2015) and see what kinds of jobs they want to do. The more hands the lighter the work.
Anyone who is interested in joining or finding out about the committee are all welcome to come to the meeting. This is an important part of the MA experience and really crystallises what we do here, so please take a little time out to get involved.
Dear MA TESOL students,
If you are a certified Korean teacher who has earned credentials from the Korean government, you are eligible to apply for teacher scholarship.
Application submission period is from March 23 (Monday) - March 27th (Friday). Please submit the following documents to the office of the Registrar, Jinlee guan #705 ( 진리관 705 호) (02-710-9083):
- proof of employment (Approved document after September 1, 2014) Applicants of last semester also needs to submit.

Submission of Thesis Proposal via Blue Ribbon
Dear Thesis proposal students,
If you're in the final semester of coursework and going thesis next semester, please submit your thesis proposal via the blue ribbon system.
The submission period is March 9 (Monday) - March 16 (Monday)
1. Log in to the blue ribbon system.
2. Go to 학사 (Undergraduate) -> 졸업 (Graduation) -> 논문관리 (Thesis Mangement) -> 논문연구계획서 작성
3. Type in your proposal (Title, content, etc.)
4. Click on 'submit'

We will be taking orders until Sunday March 8th 24:00.

In your email you need to include the following information.
The price of the journals will be announced next week in the reply email along with the bank account number for the students to pay the money.
Students will receive a text message when the journals are ready around end of March.
Students new to the program this semester will receive one free copy of this journal.
The part-time position of Web Assistant for the Graduate School of TESOL is now available.
The job mainly entails maintaining the departmental (MA) website, developing new ways to enhance the program through varied communication tools, and communicating with students through the website.
The position starts in March and is set for one semester (August 31st).
The Web Assistant is required to work 12-16 hours per week under the direction of the department head and the payment is at the 교육조교 level (1.6 million). Some of the work at least can be done from a remote location but the Web Assistant is expected to work from school at least a few hours per week.
